Manufacturing 2025 and Skill Shortage Governance

Project Description:

The research team is planning to conduct two research work this year. On the one hand, the research team will select typical areas of China's manufacturing development, investigate a small number of local governments, enterprises and vocational education institutions, in order to grasp the current situation of China's current skills shortage and government governance model. On the other hand, the research team will systematically analyze the experience of developing skills development systems to solve the shortage of skills through literature review and policy text analysis, and analyze the policy conflicts in China's current skill formation system. Based on the above research and analysis, the research team will propose corresponding policy recommendations.
