CFPS Public Data Application Guide
Login Methods
(The CFPS data platform currently includes datasets in two formats: SAS and Stata.)
1. You can register or log in through the official CFPS data platform (https://cfpsdata.pku.edu.cn/#/home). If the official platform is under maintenance, you may also register or log in via the Peking University Open Data Platform (https://opendata.pku.edu.cn/dataverse/CFPS). User accounts are not interchangeable between the two platforms.
2a. If you have previously registered on the CFPS data platform, you can use your original account and password to log in directly and download data.
Friendly reminder: The CFPS data platform is not the same as the Peking University Open Research Data Platform.
2b. If you have not registered on the CFPS data platform, please follow the instructions to register as a new user. Once your registration is approved, you will be able to download data.
2c. If you are a student or staff member of Peking University, you can also use your campus card account and corresponding password to log in directly to the new data platform. However, you will still need to fill in your personal information, submit an application, and wait for approval before downloading data.
