The Institute of Social Science Survey (ISSS, hereinafter referred to as the “institute”) was established in September 2006 and is a teaching and research entity directly affiliated to Peking University. In addition to being the executive body of the “China Family Tracking Survey” project, the Center also undertakes commissioned research by academic and government agencies at home and abroad to investigate, collect, collate, and integrate Chinese socioeconomic and social science research data for teaching and research. , policy analysis and decision making provide a data foundation.

China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) aims to reflect changes in China's society, economy, population, education and health through tracking the collection of data on individual, family and community levels for academic research and policy decisions. Provide basic data. In 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016, the project has completed baseline surveys and three in 25 provinces/cities/autonomous regions (excluding Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Hainan, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Xinjiang and Tibet). A round of national follow-up work, gained a lot of valuable data. These data record the livelihood of Chinese society today. The preliminary results of the project have also been reflected in the series of reports on the “China

In June 2018, the center will carry out the fourth round of national follow-up work of the “China Family Tracking Survey”. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the investigation, the center is now openly recruiting interviewers for colleges and universities across the country.

 

Recruitment target

The designated regional interviewer is responsible for the investigation and interview of the scattered samples of the district, counties and surrounding areas.

 

Work content

Participated in a four-day training held by the institute from June to July 2018 and obtained a certificate of completion.
During the specified time, the access equipment distributed by the survey institute will be carried to the designated households for home visits, and in addition, telephone interviews will be conducted for the samples that meet the requirements.

 

Application requirements

Registered interviewers are required to participate in both home and telephone interviews;

Participate in a 4-day training session from June to July 2018;

At least 7 consecutive days of work visits from July to August, and at least 80 hours of work from September to December (the working hours will be adjusted according to the local sample);

Aged 20 years and older, skilled in using a laptop;

Familiar with the investigation of local dialects, able to use dialects for smooth communication;

Schools, workplaces or hometowns are preferred in the sample city;

Interested in survey visits, honest and trustworthy, obeying arrangements, good at communication, and strong resistance to stress.

 

Training location

Provisional Peking University, training round-trip tolls in accordance with the provisions of the center for reimbursement, and unified arrangements for accommodation (specific training time, location, transportation and accommodation standards will be followed up).

 

Remuneration

The center will conduct multiple rounds of telephone interviews for applicants who have passed the examination.
